Always a Place to Go

The Park Ridge Park District operates its programs and activities from a diverse array of facilities located throughout the community. In fact, wherever you are in town, you’re probably not far from one of our locations.

We know how important it is to feel good about any setting where you spend a significant amount of time. That’s why we work hard to maintain each of our facilities, from the brick-and-mortar structures to the surrounding landscape.

Whether you’re lifting weights at the Community Center, working on your golf swing at the Oakton Sports Complex, exploring the Wildwood Nature Center or using another one of our properties, we strive to provide a setting that you’ll want to return to again and again.

Severe Weather Announcement

Park Ridge Park District’s programs and special events may be cancelled due to severe weather conditions.

If severe weather conditions are apparent, please call the appropriate facility or the Park District main office at 847-692-5127 one hour before the start of the program or event for cancellation information.

Even though most programs may be cancelled, most Park District facilities will remain open unless otherwise posted. Park Ridge Senior Center will be used as a temporary warming shelter during severe cold weather and a cooling center during extreme heat conditions.

The Park Ridge Park District Preschool and various school age classes will be closed in conjunction with Park Ridge-Niles School District 64’s severe weather closing.
