The Park Ridge Senior Center is a welcoming place where seniors can spend time with existing friends and make new ones.

Stop by and see for yourself. Who knows? You might decide to take a woodworking class, sign up to go an outing to the theater, register to have someone help with your taxes, or take advantage of one of our many other offerings. SPECIAL EVENTS

Join us for Our Open House on Tuesday, May 1

The Park Ridge Park District Senior Center will be having an Open House on Tuesday, May 1 from 9am until 2pm. You’ll be surprised to see what we have to offer as you’re invited to check out the facilities, programs, and social opportunities available. There will be food and various classes and clubs will have tables with info on how to become a part of those activities. Scheduled class demonstrations (tap, exercise, yoga, art, ceramics) are planned for a hands-on experience. Visit our volunteer table to see how you can be a volunteer.

Annual Fashion Show

It’s spring and time to check out the latest fashions! The Senior Center’s Annual Fashion Show is set for Wednesday, May 16 at lovely Café la Cave in Des Plaines. The fashions are from Chico’s and are modeled by our own Senior Center members. Tickets are $40. Call the Center for further information.

Clubs & Weekly Activities

There is always something happening at the Park Ridge Park District Senior Center. All week long you can find fitness classes, table tennis, woodcarving, and more. In addition, clubs for all interests are held monthly. Choose from genealogy, Men’s Club, Women’s Club, money matters discussion, opera, camera club, and uch more.

Our Senior Center is a great place for your next event. The Senior Center's main room (capacity: 50) or multi-purpose room (capacity: 140) are perfect for a variety of special events.
