REGISTRATION
Paws Park is a member’s only site. In order to purchase a tag, dog owners must provide written proof of residency, a current city dog tag, rabies vaccination, and vaccinations for Distemper, Hepatitis, Para-Influenza, Bordetella, and Parvovirus unless an exemption to this requirement has been granted by the Park District upon the written recommendation from the owner’s veterinarian. Written proof must also be given to verify there was an examination within the past year for any communicable diseases including the examination of a stool specimen for internal parasites.

An owner can purchase a total of three tags (a reminder, only two dogs per owner are allowed in the park at any one time). Nonresidents holding a current Paws Park membership can renew annually until such time as they do not require a membership for their current pet. A renewal nonresident membership is $58 and each additional tag is $12. Paws Park memberships can be purchased at the Maine Park Leisure Center only. Dogs under the age of 6 months are not allowed in the Park.
